The Bank's management comprises of highly skilled and experienced personnel. The Bank has continued with aggressive capacity building through staff training and development programmes.
The first critical success factor of the bank is about an organization culture that values people, enhances performance and supports the business.
This is grounded on seven core values namely Professionalism, Integrity, Creativity, Teamwork, Unity of Purpose, Respect and Dignity for Customers and Effective Corporate Governance. A lot of emphasis is laid on developing leadership capabilities at all levels of the organization by sponsorships to some of the worlds leading programmes.
These include Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School, Strathmore Business School, Bolder Microfinance Leadership Programme and Ireland Development Institute among others.

Francis C G Mills- Robertson
Managing Director- Equity Bank Uganda
Francis holds a BA (Hons) Social Sciences degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology , Ghana and is an Associate member of the Oxford University Society. A Business leader with over 15 years cumulative experience in Banking and Finance, Francis last worked as the Executive Director, Consumer Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Ghana, before joining Equity Bank Uganda.

Apollo N. Njoroge, Executive Director,
Equity Bank Uganda Limited
Apollo is the Executive Director, Equity Bank Uganda Limited; prior to this Apollo was the General Manager in Corporate Banking in Equity Bank Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from University of Nairobi in Mathematics and Physics, Masters Degree in International Business Administration in Finance from United States International University and a Diploma in Banking

General Manager, Operations
Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Financial Services from University of Manchester, England; an Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) Lon; International Bankers Certificate (Midland Bank Lon) and Training and Development of People Certificate, Aarhus College Denmark. He has over 20 years banking experience in formulating and implementation of operations. Prior to his current posting, Kennedy worked at Equity Bank Kenya previously being in Co-operative Bank of Kenya.

Catherine Wamatsembe,
Head of Internal Audit
Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting Oxford Brookes, is a qualified member of Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants of UK (ACCA), and is currently completing research for an Msc in Accounting and Finance at Makerere University. She has 20 years experience in both banking and other fields. Catherine previously worked with former UCB (now Stanbic) and with NARO before joining UML, now Equity Bank Uganda.

Denis Ochieng,
General Manager Finance
Denis holds a Bcom. (Hons) degree from Makerere University and a Master of Science in Financial Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK. He is a finance and risk management professional with 14 years experience, is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institutes of Certified Public Accountants of both Uganda and Kenya. Prior to joining Equity Bank, Denis worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Commercial Microfinance Limited, DFCU, NSSF and with Maesrk Group as CFO for Uganda and Southern Sudan.

Head of Risk and Compliance
Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry from Makerere University. He is a member of the Association of Certified Public Accountants (UK) and Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and is currently pursuing an MBA in Finance at Makerere University. He has over 9 years experience in audit and compliance review of financial statements, internal controls for both public and private entities.

Head of Treasury
John holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Forestry from Makerere University and a Master of Business Administration from ESAMI. He is an Associate Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers - UK. Prior to joining Equity Bank, he was the Treasurer for the National Social Security Fund and also worked for 9 years with Standard Chartered Uganda Global Markets.
